Congratulations to the 2012 New Jersey Envirothon State Champions and the runner-ups. Both MATES Teams took 1st and 2nd on May 5, 2012. The MATES team won its third consecutive state title! They are on to the Envirothon National Competition in Pennsylvania this summer! |

MATES Club and Activities Meeting Calendar 2011-2012
General Club and Activities Meeting Schedule:
The following clubs and activities will meet during lunch as follows:
Mondays - Yearbook and the school paper MATES MESSENGER
NHS will meet on alternate Mondays or as needed
Tuesdays - Spanish Club based upon announcements
Mock Trial (Weekly)
Project Terrapin Committees (Weekly)
Wednesdays - Student Government (Weekly)
Thursdays - Class/Council & Homeroom Representatives including class
business(First & Third Thursdays)
- Outdoor Club (Second & Fourth Thursdays)
Fridays - Human Rights (First & Third Fridays)
Science Olympiad (Second & Fourth Friday)
The Math League and Science League will meet as required according to their respective competition days.
Afterschool meetings for Envirothon, Shore Bowl, Science Olympiad, Project Terrapin, ROV/Robotics, Skills USA and Mock Trial will be scheduled by the coaches. As competition times near, there may be more than one meeting per week after school.
All months that have a 5th day, will be open and meetings will be worked out through the club advisors and announced.
