JACKSON TOWNSHIP - A cabinetmaking student at the Ocean County Vocational Technical School 's Jackson Center , built a wooden book rack palm tree for the library at the Dr. Gerald H Woehr Elementary School, New Egypt, Plumsted Township . Joining in the dedication ceremony are, from left, OCVTS Instructor Robert Gonsalvas, Rita Williams, the school's art teacher who designed the tree, and Principal Jean Morgan. The tree will be the centerpiece of an “Oasis” area where children will gather to read.
