Architectural / Engineering Design

This course is for high school and post secondary students interested in architectural and related engineering careers. Skills for drafting and designing architectural, engineering and mechanical systems are emphasized.
Design of residential structure is stressed in the first year. The second year concentrates on commercial design and civil engineering. Computer aided drafting and design is extensively utilized. The program is certified by the American Design Drafting Association. A Tech Prep agreement is in place\ with Mercer County College, enabling students to receive 6 college credits obtained through a challenge exam. An agreement with Ocean County College awards 5 credits based on successful completion of the OCVTS curriculum.
