This program explores the fundamentals of engine technology with a complete machining curriculum for both gas and diesel engines. Cylinder boring, complete cylinder head rebuilding and repair comprise the machining technology elements of the curriculum. Students also study in-vehicle repairs covering complete engine repairs, brakes, steering and suspensions, as well as alternative fuel systems.
