Student Work |
Students are required to utilize a large array of skills in their course of study. In turn, are challenged to create several projects through the course of the year for their professional portfolios. The portfolios therefore, can be used to impress prospective employers and/or colleges/universities.

Fashion Merchandising / Design
As a class project, fashion students exhibited their fashion design creativity and construction skills by creating fashion garments for 12" and 18" dolls in the FCCLA Passion for Fashion Design Challenge. Students were also required to draft a pattern and submit a fashion forecast. The garments were judged by Mrs. Infranco, Ms. Sayers and Mr. Luchs. Seven garments were selected to compete at the State Competition held on November 21, 2011 at the FCCLA Fall Leadership Conference at the Pines Manor in Edison NJ. All of the students brought home a Gold Medal! |

Alex Donaghue designed and constructed this surfboard coffee table. The table consists of poplar and walnut wood. A template was made from a real 5'8" surfboard. A set of waves is the base for the table. |
