Senior Interdisciplinary Portfolio Project (SIPP)

Welcome to the Senior Interdisciplinary Portfolio Project home page!

Objective:

This project is designed to enhance student research skills and enrich their writing abilities. Students will attain a deeper appreciation for their topic by creating a multi-sensory presentation that reflects their research. Additionally, students will experience a connection between academic curriculum and performance areas.

General:

This project will begin in student’s sophomore year and will culminate in junior year with a research paper and senior year with a reflective presentation that includes an end product. The student will work in conjunction primarily with the English Instructors and their Major Instructors, but all Performing Arts Academy instructors are a valuable resource for assistance. The Senior Project Team will provide final approval of the project topic. Various componets of the project grades will count in Englih, Performance, or Both. The overall project grade will count for one half of Senior Internship Grade. Failure to complete project component/s may result in failure of Enlish and/or Performance courses.
