Special Announcements:

- School will be closed on Thursday October 9 for Yom Kippur.

- MATES Junior Experience will be on Friday October 10 after school into Saturday morning at noon at the Lighthouse Center in Waretown, NJ. Please pick up students at the Lighthouse Center in Waretown (Directions).

- Pine Barrens Jamboree on Saturday October 11, 2008 from 10 am through 3 pm. There is an opportunity to help with NJ Forest Resource Education Center in Jackson.

Upcoming Events:

Meet Dr. Paul Jivoff of Rider University as he presents on the life histor, biology and ecology of blue crabs and his research at Barnegat Bay. The program is at 7 pm on Wednesday November 19 at MATES. The program is free of charge (flier attachment)

The next PTSO scholarship meeting will be on November 14 at 7:00 pm at MATES. Meetings are scheduled for the first Tuesday of the month.
