BRICKLAYER, ALLIED CRAFTWORKER & MASON

The Bricklayer and Allied Craftworker program is designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge required for a successful career in masonry and construction. This hands-on course provides the essential skills and knowledge needed to enter the field of masonry and allied trades. Through both classroom instruction and practical experience, students learn the fundamentals of bricklaying, blocklaying, and concrete finishing. Core topics include blueprint reading, materials handling, building code compliance, and the safe use of masonry tools and equipment. Students will also gain experience in specialized areas such as stone setting, tile installation, and tuckpointing. By the end of the program, participants will be prepared for positions in the construction industry, ready to contribute to high-quality, structurally sound masonry projects in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
