OCVTS Foundation’s 26th Annual International Chef’s Night Out Raises $70k to Benefit Ocean County Vo-Tech Students
It was a fun night of food and fundraising in Lacey Township on Monday night at the 26th Annual International Chefs Night Out. This year hosted at the beautiful Lacey Elks Lodge on Beach Avenue in Lacey. A nice crowd attended & there was lots of food from all over Ocean County, including an assortment of cuisine from the OCVTS culinary students.

GPAA Theatre Instructors, Students and Alumni Play Huge Role in PSA Video Production with LEGAL ONE NJ to Support Transgendered Students' Rights
During the months of December and January, GPAA and NJ Legal One teamed up to shoot a learning video for Legal One. Anthony Ciccotelli and Carolyn Little played a huge role in casting and managing crew for the production. Mr. Ciccotelli was instrumental in the script writing and facilitating the entire process. Current students, graduates, parents, staff and guests all played a role in this production.

Veolia North America Awards MATES $20,000 in Partnership on a Derelict Crab Pot Recovery Project to Help Preserve the Barnegat Bay
Veolia North America partnered with the Marine Academy of Technology and Environmental Science (MATES) as part of their Project Sonat Environmental Program. Veolia North America awarded MATES with a generous donation in the amount of $20,000.00 that will allow them to further their conservation efforts with recovering derelict crab pots and to promote and distribute bycatch reduction devices (BRDs) for crab pots throughout the area.
