AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY
2 YEAR / 900 HOURS / BRICK / JACKSON/ WARETOWN
This ASE certified, STEM-based program prepares students for entry into the exciting and challenging career field of Automotive Technology. Students will be introduced to major concepts and theories of maintenance, service and repairs on modern automobiles. Students are instructed on shop safety and proper usage of tools and equipment. We use modern and relevant tools and shop equipment for instruction and incorporate work-based learning to expose students to the automotive field. Upon successful completion, students are prepared for entry-level employment in the automotive field and will have acquired the knowledge necessary to take ASE certification tests. This program is evaluated and accredited by the ASE Educational Foundation, and the following subjects are ASE accredited: Maintenance and Light Repair, Engine Repair, Engine Performance, Electrical/Electronic Systems, Brakes, Steering and Suspension, Heating and Air-Conditioning, Automatic Transmissions and Manual Transmission, and Drive-Axle.
Articulation agreements with Brookdale Community College and the University of Northwestern Ohio allow students to take challenge tests which provide them with an opportunity to earn advanced college credit from these institutions upon successful completion of this program.


COLLISION REPAIR
2 YEAR / 900 HOURS / JACKSON
This ASE certified program provides students with the entry-level skills and knowledge required by the collision repair and automotive restoration industry. Using the Inter-industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR) and ASE Automotive Service Excellence Curriculum, students will learn the latest techniques in automotive paints and refinishing technology, restoration, fabrication and related automotive welding technology. Students are provided with transition services to move into post-secondary education, advanced education, or apprenticeship programs which employ students for a future career in the automotive industry.


DIESEL ENGINE TECHNOLOGY
2 YEARS / 900 HOURS / JACKSON
This Diesel Engine Technology program follows the curriculum guidelines set by ASE Educational Foundation for the Medium Heavy Truck certification. The program provides students with the technical knowledge and skills for employment in the diesel industry. Diesel Engine Technology involves diagnosing and repairing the mechanisms and systems found in today’s diesel-powered vehicles. Instruction includes a combination of classroom theory and practical experience.
Areas of study include Diesel Engine Systems such as; lubrication, cooling, air induction, fuel systems, and emissions. Also, Brake Systems; Air & Hydraulic, Steering and Suspension Systems, Electrical and Electronic systems, and Preventative Maintenance Inspection. Upon successful completion, students are prepared for entry-level employment in the diesel field and will have acquired the knowledge necessary to take ASE Medium Heavy Truck certification tests. ASE certification helps technicians prove their abilities to themselves, to their employers.
Articulation agreements with with the University of Northwestern Ohio allows students to take challenge tests which provide them with an opportunity to earn advanced college credit upon successful completion of this program.


MARINE SERVICE TECHNOLOGY
2 YEAR / 900 HOURS / TOMS RIVER
Dive into the world of marine engines with our hands-on, career-focused Marine Technology Program! Students gain real-world experience using the latest engine technology and diagnostic equipment, developing skills in the theory, maintenance, and troubleshooting of both outboard and inboard marine engines. Following the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) standards, as well as Yamaha’s Introduction to Outboard Systems (ITOS) and Introduction to Jet Propulsion (ITJP) curriculum, students explore marine-specific systems including electrical, mechanical, cooling, fuel, and trailer maintenance. The program also emphasizes boating safety, vessel maintenance, and customer service skills—key components for a successful career in the marine industry. Students have the opportunity to complete online training through Yamaha Marine University, including Outboard and Jet Propulsion courses, as well as Yamaha Service Skills Training, earning certificates in Portable, Mid-Range, Inline, and V-Engines. Upon completing the program, students are fully prepared to launch their careers in the marine industry with confidence, technical expertise, and industry-recognized certifications.
